We may use web beacons to collect information about your interactions with our email messages, such as the links you click on and whether you open or forward a message, the date and time of these interactions and the device you use to read emails.

Software development kits, or SDKs, which are used to incorporate third party computer code into our Application that allows our third party service providers or advertising partners to collect data directly from our Application for a variety of purposes, including to provide us with analytics regarding the use of our Application, to integrate with social media, add features or functionality to our Application, or to facilitate online advertising.

Session-replay technologies, such as those provided by FullStory and Datadog that employ software code to record users’ interactions with the Services in a manner that allows us to watch and analyze visual reconstructions of those user sessions. The replays include users’ clicks, mobile app touches, mouse movements, scrolls, and keystrokes/key touches during those sessions. These replays help us diagnose usability problems and identify areas for improvement.

Chat technologies, such as those provided by ChatBot to operate the chat features that you can use to communicate with us through the Service. ChatBot and other third parties may access and use information about webpages visited on our website, your IP address, your general geographic information (e.g., city, state), and other information you share through online chats for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

We may receive personal information about you from companies that help provide our Services. We may also receive personal information from other third parties, such as:

Information Collected from Third-Party Platforms.
If you communicate with us or mention us via social media (such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Instagram) or other third party online platforms, we may collect information about you, such as the communications, your name, your user ID and/or user name associated with that platform and any information or content you have permitted the platform to share with us. The platform provider’s privacy policy will apply to your interactions with the platform and its collection, use and sharing of your personal information, including when you interact with pages that we maintain on social media platforms. We will treat such personal information about you that we receive from such platforms as described in this Privacy Policy. You should check your privacy settings in your social media or other third party accounts to understand and change the information sent to us through these services.
Information About Others.
If you decide to invite a third party to create an account with us, we will collect your and the third party’s name and e-mail address to send an e-mail and follow up with the third party. When you share the personal information of others with us, you are responsible for ensuring that you have their permission to do so.
How We Use Your Personal Information
We use your personal information for the following purposes and as otherwise described either in this Privacy Policy or at the time of collection.
We may use your personal information (such as birthday, weight, etc) to:

We use cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart including when you have abandoned your cart and this information is used to determine if/when to send cart reminder messages via SMS or email.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
Sharing Your Personal Information
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Research and Development.
We may use your personal information to administer surveys and other market research, analyze audience online activity on the Services, and for other research and development purposes, including to analyze and improve the Services and our business. As part of these activities, we may create anonymous data (including aggregated and/or de-identified data) from personal information we collect by removing information that makes the data personally identifiable to you. We may use this anonymous data and disclose it to third parties for our lawful business purposes, including to analyze and improve the Services and promote our business.
Marketing and Promotional Communications.
We may send you offers and promotions from Alleviate, our affiliates, joint venture partners and other companies that offer products or services that may be of interest to you, in each case, as permitted by law. You can opt out of our marketing and promotional communications as described in the Opt Out of Marketing Communications section below.
Compliance and Protection.
Regardless of any choices you make below, we may use your personal information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is appropriate to:

comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities;

protect our, your or others’ rights, privacy, safety or property (including by making and defending legal claims);

enforce the terms and conditions that govern the Services; and

Retention.
We retain personal information where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested, including to provide recommendations and promotions to you; to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements; to establish or defend legal claims; or for fraud prevention). Whether the retention period is sufficient to fulfill such purposes is the primary criteria for determining the duration of the retention period.
Your Choices
Privacy rights.
Residents of certain states can exercise privacy rights with respect to the personal information we collect, as described in the State Law Privacy Rights section below.
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below. Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
Delete your account.
You can request that we delete your account by contacting us at info@alleviatetherapy.com. Please note that if we delete your account, we will be unable to provide any online or digital services to you or support for past products or services that you have purchased.
Opt-Out of Marketing Communications. You may opt-out of marketing-related emails by following the unsubscribe instructions provided at the bottom of any e-mail you receive from us or by contacting us directly at info@alleviatetherapy.com. Despite opting out of marketing-related emails, you may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing communications, including notices of any updates to our Terms of Use Agreement or Privacy Policy.
Text Messages.
We may offer communications via SMS texts or similar technology (including via automatic telephone dialing equipment, if we received the appropriate consents from you in accordance with applicable law) sent by Alleviate or any of its service providers, such as when we send you text messages to remind you to participate in a service you’ve enrolled in, or for any customer service, account-related or marketing purpose. To stop receiving text messages from a short code operated by Alleviate, reply STOP to any message you receive from such short code. Note that we may send you a message to confirm receipt of your STOP request. Message and data rates may apply for this service. You can also opt-out of Alleviate marketing texts by emailing us your request and mobile telephone number to info@alleviatetherapy.com.
Interest-Based Advertising.
Some of our advertising partners are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) and are subject to the Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising published by the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA). You can obtain more information about these companies’ information collection practices, and opt-out of receiving interest-based advertising from participating NAI and DAA members at http://optout.networkadvertising.org/?c=1 and/or the DAA’s website at optout.aboutads.info. Mobile app users may opt out of receiving interest-based advertising in mobile apps provided by participating members of the Digital Advertising Alliance by installing the AppChoices mobile app, available at https://youradchoices.com/appchoices. In addition, your mobile device settings may provide functionality to limit use of the advertising ID associated with your mobile device for targeted online advertising purposes. If you opt-out of interest-based advertisements, you will still see advertisements online but they may be less relevant to you.
Please note that we also may work with companies that do not participate in the opt-out mechanisms described above. Even after using these opt-out mechanisms, you may receive interest-based advertising from other companies.
Cookies.
Most browsers let you remove and/or stop accepting cookies from the websites you visit. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser’s settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. If you do not accept cookies, however, you may not be able to use all functionality of the Services and our Site may not work properly. If you do not provide information that we need to provide the Service, we may not be able to provide you with the Services or certain features. We will tell you what information you must provide to receive the Services when we request it.
Security
We use a variety of technical, organizational and physical safeguards designed to help protect your personal information. However, security risk is inherent in all internet and information technologies and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.
International Data Transfers
We are headquartered in the United States and may from time to time have service providers who operate in other countries. Your personal information may be transferred to or from the United States or other locations outside of your state, province, or country where privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your state, province, or country.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy we will notify you by posting the new Privacy Policy at https://alleviatetherapy.com/pages/privacy-policy and changing the effective date listed at the top of this Privacy Policy. If required by law we will also provide notification of changes in another way that we believe is reasonably likely to reach you, such as via e-mail or another manner through the Services. Any modifications to this Privacy Policy will be effective upon our posting the modified version as described above (or as otherwise indicated at the time of posting). In all cases, your continued use of the Services after the posting of any modified Privacy Policy indicates your acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy.

State Law Privacy Rights
Scope.
Except as otherwise provided, this section applies to residents of California, Virginia, Nevada, and other states where privacy laws applicable to us grant their residents the rights described below, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).
For purposes of this section, “personal information” has the meaning given to “personal data”, “personal information” or similar terms under the applicable privacy laws of the state in which you reside. Please note that not all rights listed below may be afforded to all users and that if you are not a resident of the relevant states, you may not be able to exercise these rights.
In some cases, we may provide a different privacy notice to certain categories of residents of these states in which case that notice will apply with respect to the activities it describes instead of this section.
Your Privacy Rights.
You have the rights listed below. However, these rights are not absolute and in certain cases, we may decline your request as permitted by law.

You can request whether we have collected your personal information, and in certain cases, information about how we use and share it. How to Exercise Your Rights.

Information/know, access, correction, and deletion. You may submit requests to exercise these rights by calling us toll free at (833) 309-9300, or via email at info@alleviatetherapy.com. We cannot process your request if you do not provide us with sufficient detail to allow us to understand and respond to it. You can ask to appeal any denial of your request in the same manner through which you may submit a request.
Verification of Identity.
We may need to verify your identity in order to process your information/know, access, correction, or deletion requests and reserve the right to confirm your residency. To verify your identity, we may require authentication into your Service account, government identification, a declaration under penalty of perjury, personal identifiers we can match against information we may have collected from you previously, confirmation of your request using the email address or telephone number associated with your account, or a declaration under penalty of perjury, where permitted by law.
Authorized Agents.
Your authorized agent may be able to make a request on your behalf. However, we may need to verify your authorized agent’s identity and authority to act on your behalf. We may require a copy of a valid power of attorney given to your authorized agent pursuant to applicable law. If you have not provided your agent with such a power of attorney, we may ask you to take additional steps permitted by law to verify that your request is authorized, such as by providing your agent with written and signed permission to exercise your rights on your behalf, the information we request to verify your identity, and confirmation that you have given the authorized agent permission to submit the request.
Additional information for California residents.
The following describes our practices currently and during the past 12 months:

Sales/sharing. We do not “sell” personal information as defined by the CCPA. We do not have actual knowledge that we have sold or shared the personal information of California residents under 16 years of age.
